LOMF – Ladies Operation Moving Forward

Business Opportunities in the Travel Industry

Ladies Operation Moving Forward (LOMF) is partnering with JANAIREXPRESS.COM (using the Business Opportunity Travel and Tourism model, aka BOTT) to facilitate self- sufficiency through e-commerce in the travel and tourism industry for a targeted population of approximately thirty women veterans (per class) with:

  • post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD )
  • military sexual trauma (MST)

Background

In October 2010, Ladies Operation Moving Forward (LOMF) created the Veterans Technology Center (aka Vet Tech Cafe™)  a functional area of LOMF. It is a community service, social action and an educational facility where computers and other related communications technologies are available to increase self-sufficiency, skill building opportunities, job training, entrepreneur and creative experiences to veterans, especially to women veterans who have limited to no access to computers giving an opportunity to use and learn about these technologies.

In December 2012, The Vet Tech Cafe™ was registered as the Veterans Technology Center, LLC dba Vet Tech Café, LLC, co-located with Safe Homes Ladies Operation Moving Forward (Women Veterans Program).
