Explorer Pass & Discover Ticket

Our Low-Cost Membership and Tickets Are Back!

We are once again offering low-cost tickets and memberships for EBT/Washington Quest or WIC assistance recipients—and this year we are expanding eligibility to include foster and kinship families!

We hope you can help us promote!

$35 Explorer Pass Membership is for foster and kinship families* and recipients of EBT/Washington Quest or WIC assistance (Washington residents only). All Explorer Passes are valid September 3, 2019 through September 30, 2020, regardless of the time of purchase.

The membership covers 2 named adults and up to 6 children ages 3-18. Benefits align with Annual Pass membership level, including unlimited admission, discounts and presales. A limited number of memberships are available for purchase at zoo gates only, verification** of assistance is required at time of purchase.

$5 Discover Ticket is also available for foster and kinship families* or recipients of EBT/Washington Quest or WIC assistance and is available September 3, 2019 through March 31, 2020 at zoo gates only. Valid for daytime admission, excludes all other separately ticketed events.

Individuals and families providing current proof of EBT/WIC assistance, foster family status or kinship caregiver status for verification** and a valid form of photo ID can receive $5 admission per person for up to six individuals in the same family.

If you would like to promote these programs at your location or to your clients, please email membership@zoo.org to receive a PDF you can print and post on a community board or email to those you think would be interested. You can also provide this link: https://www.zoo.org/discounts#explorerpass

Note: This opportunity is in addition to the community access program tickets your organization received earlier this year. The application period for those tickets will open after November 15, 2019 for 2020 tickets and is not currently open.
