Dear OARS Community:

Today is a day we not only honor our own hard works serving our country in the name of freedom, but also honor those we have lost at the Towers, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville on Flight 93, regular and military people alike. Bravery knows no bounds. The courage displayed seventeen years ago symbolizes who we are as Americans.

Every day when you think about your service in our Armed Forces, please know that we support you, we care about you, and we honor your service. We bow our heads in honor of those lost on September 11, 2001, and we are thankful to all who protected us. We cover our hearts to show we love all who’ve paid the ultimate sacrifice preserving our freedoms. We take a moment or one for each loss to observe and respect them.

Sincerely and respectfully,

OARS Founder Julia Sheriden
