veterans summit 2025
This year, Mental Health Awareness Month feels bigger and more urgent than a simple annual observance.

Mental health needs across communities are at an all-time high, whether people are managing trauma, isolation, heightened stress, or depression and anxiety. The systems that communities depend on are under extraordinary strain. For too many people, they were never enough to begin with.

The need for trauma-informed, arts-based healing is growing. This is not just a crisis to endure. It’s a call to create.

Art is a transformative remedy — within ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and our society. Yet what makes art such a powerful remedy is that the act of creation belongs to all of us, singularly and collectively. But we need our health practitioners, practices, and systems to integrate that truth, so that proven interventions can reach the people who need them most.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we invite you: create with us.

Create art. Spread the word about art as an evidence-backed healing modality. And, if you feel inspired, create health by donating to keep Path with Art’s arts engagement programs free and accessible to the thousands of individuals and the 60+ health, housing, and human service organizations we serve.

You’ll see us in your inbox and your social media feeds all month long. Follow along, and let’s create health together.
